Human ResourcesAssignment of PersonnelThe JAPL Business Management System identifies in-house resources according to P-04 Human Resource s and Staff Development to ensure trained personnel for execution of the work and all verification activities required under a contract. The assignment of personnel follows a review of applicable education, training, skills and experience. Competency, Awareness and TrainingJAPL determines the competences required for the performance of various tasks and has summarised them in the Training Register by identifying the necessary industry skills and then carrying out an assessment of all staff designations to highlight skills gaps. Staff training requirements are reviewed at regular management review meetings and the training planned, carried out and recorded. Induction Training Checklist and Training Register are used as records. Training may be specific to perform assigned task or general to heighten quality, safety and environmental awareness of JAPL services. |
InfrastructureAdministrative and secretarial support for JAPL is available at JAPL Head Office with on-site facilities provided on major projects.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment, both within the JAPL Head Office and externally on a construction site, is a combination of human and physical factors. These factors influence motivation, satisfaction, and performance of the organisation. Management identifies and considers these factors with the aim to manage the work environment needed to achieve conformity of product. The Workplace Inspection Report is used periodically to assess the condition of office equipment, surroundings and field equipment . |
